FAQ'S What kind of tanks do you make? Our main business line is custom designed GB (Chinese Steel Pressure Vessel Fabrication and Manufacture Standard)code pressure vessels. We carry the every FAT (Factory Acceptance Test Report)manufacturing. We have a lot of experience in custom designed welded and machined fabrications. We can also do anything that is not code stamped. If it’s fabricated from metal we can build it. We call this work “non-code”. We DO NOT fabricate LP tanks, gas tanks, septic tanks, fiberglass tanks, plastic tanks or mass produced air compressor tanks. Do you stock any tanks? Yes and No, we do not stock tanks of bigger (5000 Liter) size for immediate purchase, and partial 200-1000 liter glass lined reactor with jacketed or non jacketed available depends on inventory SOMETIMES. We are a custom designed tank shop that specializes in built to order from exact specifications. Do you have a standard drawing you can send me? No, we do not have a standard drawing. Since we do not have standard tanks that we frequently build we do not have a standard drawing, we may have similar drawing for your informatio. We have spec sheet that you can download and fill out to send to us so we can quote your specific needs. Do you have a quality program? Yes, we work to code inspection requirements, specific customer requirements and to our own rigorous demands for quality. All jobs that leave here are final inspected for accuracy in meeting the print requirements before a hydrotest is done. Do you do non destructive testing, NDE? Yes and No. We do in house dye checking (PT) to standards. We also bring in certified X-ray (RT) contractors to take “shots” on almost every vessel we produce. On occasion we subcontract for ultrasonic (UT) and magnetic particle (MT) inspection of welds when specified. Do you hydrotest every tank? Every tank that is designed for pressure or liquid storage is tested. Those vessels either get a full of water (FOW) test or a pressurized test at 1.3x the design pressure. We use city supplied water that is tested every 6 months for ppm of chlorides.
